"You Are There: Twenty Twenty" is a 60-minute Radio Art program, inspired by life in these pandemic times of 2020, blending sound art and storytelling, rooted in improvisational shortwave radio frequencies-sweep recordings by Pete Petrisko, while you are there.

It features 'public domain'-sourced materials, including edited excerpts (in order of appearance) from: You Are There (the "historical educational" radio show, 1948); science fiction short story The Gray Plague by Lloyd Eshbach (Astounding Stories magazine, Nov. 1930), Librivox reading by Bellona Times; radio news broadcasts, 1941; Po Oolitza by Madame Rombro, 1899 wax cylinder recording (in Russian); science fiction short story The Street That Wasn't There by Clifford D. Simak and Carl Jacobi (Comet magazine, July 1941), Librivox reading by Jedediah Smith; Black Lives Matter rally (Kennebunk ME, 6-3-20) rec. by KT Manahan @ freesound dot org; Year That Trembled by Walt Whitman, Librivox reading by Winston Tharp; Reflections on the Influenza Epidemic that Afflicted Washington, D.C. (1918) essay by Francis J. Grimké, Librivox reading by Tricia G; Past and Future by Sarojini Naidu, Librivox reading by Mike Overby.
